Hybrid Inverter System Card Kab Badalna Chahiye 2026

Change the system card when your inverter keeps showing the same fault, stops charging the battery, or will not start even after you check the battery, the panels, and the wiring. The six signs below show that the card itself is the fault, not the battery or the panels.

This guide is for home users and repair technicians. It explains what the card does, the six signs that point to the card, how to pick the exact card for your inverter, and what a wrong card can damage. Read the full guide before you order. A card is not a universal part. The right card is the one that matches your inverter.

In our repair centre, we see this mistake often. A customer buys a new card because the inverter looks dead, fits it in a hurry, and the inverter still does not work. The old card was not the fault at all. The battery was weak, or a fuse was blown, or a wire was loose. This guide stops that waste. It helps you check the simple things first, then point to the card only when the signs truly point there.

Trust nudge: SunTech Mall runs its own inverter and UPS repair service centre in Pakistan. We also sell solar inverters and spare parts to technicians and home buyers every day. So this guide comes from real shop and bench experience, and from the live product pages linked in the table below, not from sales talk.

What You Will Learn in This Guide

What a system card does inside your inverter, in simple words; the 6 signs that point to the card; how to pick the exact card for your inverter; what harm a wrong card can cause; the checks to do before you order and after you change the card; and answers to 6 common questions. You can browse more parts in the Electronic Parts and Solar Inverters sections.

What is a hybrid inverter system card?

A hybrid inverter system card is the brain board inside the inverter. It controls the solar input, the battery charging, the AC output, the system monitoring, and the protection. When this board fails, the whole inverter can look dead, even when the panels and the battery are fine.

Every card carries a PCB number printed on the board. That number is the card's identity. Two cards can look the same size and still be different cards. If the number is different, the card is different. Think of the card as the part that makes decisions. It reads the solar input and decides how much power goes to the battery. It reads the battery and decides when charging should slow down or stop. It watches the AC output and shuts things down when something goes wrong. When this decision-making part fails, the inverter loses its sense. The panels can be fine and the battery can be full, yet nothing works, because no part is left to give the orders. SunTech Mall stocks these cards as replacement boards for repair work.

Note: The card is not the whole inverter. It is the control board. The power stage, the battery, and the panels still matter. A new card cannot fix a dead battery or a broken panel. That is why the checks in this guide come before the order, not after it.

What are the 6 signs your system card needs changing?

One sign on its own is not proof. Check the battery, the panels, the wiring, and the fuses first. If the same sign stays after those checks, the card is the suspect. These are the six signs:

  1. The inverter is dead. No display, no response, no sound, but the battery voltage and the input fuses check fine.
  2. The same fault comes back. You reset the inverter and check the wiring, yet the same fault shows again and again.
  3. The battery will not charge. Solar power is coming in and the battery tests fine, but charging never starts from solar or from the grid.
  4. There is no AC output. Or the output drops as soon as you add load, while the power stage itself tests fine.
  5. The display is wrong. It freezes, shows wrong readings, or refuses to save settings you just entered.
  6. You can see damage on the card. Burn marks, a burnt smell, or swollen parts on the board itself.

Never ignore burn marks or a burnt smell. Switch the inverter off, disconnect the battery, and stop using it until a technician looks at it. A burnt card can damage other parts if you keep running it.

Bonus Tip: Write down what happened just before the fault. Was there load shedding? A storm? A new load added? That one note often points to the cause faster than any meter test, and it helps your technician a lot.

Which card fits your inverter?

Read the PCB number on your old card first. Then compare the board revision, the connector positions, the mounting holes, and the component layout with the new card. Take a clear photo of your old card before you order. That photo saves you from ordering the wrong board. The table below lists the five system cards SunTech Mall stocks for hybrid inverters, with the platform each one fits.

Card (PCB number) Fits this platform Battery and output What must match
101-058228-003 Compatible hybrid solar inverter systems, as a replacement control board Follows the inverter it is fitted in PCB number, revision, connectors, mounting, layout
101-014248-002 Voltronic/Axpert VM II 5.5kW hybrid solar inverter platform 48V battery, up to 5.5kW pure sine wave output PCB number, revision, connectors, mounting, layout
098-050001-00g Voltronic-based VM II Plus 5.5kW 48V hybrid solar inverter platform 48V battery, up to 5500W pure sine wave output, around 6000W solar array, 120–450V MPPT range PCB number, revision, connectors, mounting, layout
098-500861-03g Voltronic Axpert VM II 2.5kW hybrid solar inverter platform 24V battery, up to 2500W pure sine wave output, around 3000W solar input, charging up to 80A PCB number, revision, connectors, mounting, layout
156-050026-01c 24V 3.2KVA hybrid solar inverter systems, 156-050026 family 24V battery, 3200VA/3000W output, up to 3000W solar input, 30–400V MPPT range, charging up to 80A PCB number, revision, connectors, mounting, layout

No card fits every inverter. Never carry fit from one card to another. A card that fits a 5.5kW 48V platform does not fit a 2.5kW 24V platform, even if the boards look alike. If the number is different, the card is different. If you are not sure, ask a repair technician to check your old card before you order.

What harm can a wrong card cause?

A wrong card causes more harm than a late repair. If the connectors do not line up, forcing them can break pins and crack the board. If the mounting holes do not match, the board sits crooked and the wires pull tight. That alone can cause a new fault.

The control side is worse. A wrong card can charge the battery the wrong way, or not charge it at all. It can give the wrong AC output. Its protection may not trip when it should. A common mix-up is voltage. A card made for a 24V machine does not belong in a 48V machine, even if the plugs look the same. The card will read the wrong voltages from the first second. It may refuse to start, or it may drive the battery the wrong way. Either way, you have now risked two parts instead of fixing one. In the worst case, the new card burns on the first power-up and takes nearby parts with it. You then pay twice: once for the wrong card, and again for the damage it caused. Never install a card whose PCB number, connectors, and layout do not match, just to test it. Testing a wrong card is how a small repair turns into a big one.

Note: If a card does not fit easily, stop. A correct card lines up without force. Force is a warning, not a solution.

How do you check the card before you order, and what should you do after you change it?

Before you order, first check the simple things. Check the battery voltage. Check the solar input. Check the fuses and the wiring. Many inverter faults come from these, not from the card. Then read the PCB number on your old card and compare it with the card you plan to buy. Compare the revision, the connectors, the mounting holes, and the layout, one by one. Take a photo of the old card and keep it next to you while you order. If any one of these does not match, do not order that card.

After you fit the new card, start with no load on the inverter. Watch the display and check that it reads normally. Check that the battery charges from solar, and then from the grid. Then add one load at a time and watch how the inverter behaves. If the same fault comes back, switch off and stop. Get the old card and the new card checked by a repair shop. SunTech Mall runs its own inverter and UPS repair service centre, so a technician can check the card for you. Keep your old card until the new one works. Do not throw it away on the first day. If the new card shows the same fault, the old card helps the technician compare the two boards side by side. Once the inverter runs well for a few days, you can let the old card go.

Bonus Tip: After a repair, do not load the inverter to full power at once. Run it on a light load first. Watch the display. Listen for strange sounds. A repair that survives a careful first hour has a far better chance than one thrown straight onto full load.

Frequently Asked Questions

### Can I use any system card in my hybrid inverter?

No. Use only the card whose PCB number, connectors, and layout match your old card. A different number means a different card, even if it looks the same size.

### My inverter shows a fault code. Does that always mean the card is bad?

No. A fault code can come from the battery, the panels, the wiring, or a blown fuse. Check those first. If the same code stays after those checks, the card becomes the suspect.

### How do I find the PCB number on my old card?

Switch the inverter off and disconnect the battery first. Open the inverter cover and look for the number printed on the board itself. Take a clear photo of it. That photo is what you compare when you order.

### Can a repair shop fix my old card instead of replacing it?

Sometimes. Small damage, like a burnt track or one small burnt part, can often be repaired. If the board is burnt through, or the main control section is dead, replacement is the safer path. A technician who sees the board can tell you which case yours is.

### Will a new card make my inverter stronger or bigger?

No. A new card restores your inverter to its own rated output. It does not raise the wattage. A 2.5kW inverter stays a 2.5kW inverter with a new card in it.

### What should I check on the live product page before I order?

Check the PCB number, the platform it fits, and the checks in this guide. Check the live page for current availability before you order, because availability can change.

If your inverter shows a fault code, read Inverex Nitrox Fault Codes 2026. For Fronus codes, read Fronus PV 7200 Error Codes 2026. If your inverter will not turn on at all, read Solar Inverter Not Turning On 2026. If a power part keeps burning, read IGBT Jal Kyun Jata Hai 2026. To test power switches before you replace them, read How to Test a MOSFET With a Multimeter 2026. For Veyron fault codes, read Veyron II 6KW Fault Codes 2026. Final Thoughts

A system card is the brain of your inverter, but it is not always the fault. Check the battery, the panels, the fuses, and the wiring first. Then look for the six signs. If they point to the card, match the PCB number exactly, compare the connectors and the layout, and order only that card. That order saves money, saves time, and saves a second repair.

One clear next step: Before you buy any replacement, photograph the full PCB number on your old card and your inverter model plate. Then check the live page for the matching card and check the live price on the website. If your old card carries the number 101-058228-003, and its revision, connectors, and mounting match your inverter, you can see that exact replacement card here: Hybrid Inverter System Card 101-058228-003. Still unsure which number matches your board? Contact SunTech Mall through the website, or reach us on WhatsApp at 0306-2244820 with those photos, and our team will help you match the part before you buy. Do not order a card on looks alone.
